Problem: HEADLIGHT DOES NOT COME ON. (MONITOR DOES NOT LIGHT.)

Light lead connections:

HI: Yellow to Yellow/Green (or Yellow/Red)

Lo: Green to Green/Red

Problem: THE COMPUTERIZED MONITOR DOES NOT COME ON WITH THE MAIN SWITCH TURNED ON.

Operation

This system monitors seven separate functions and will warn you of any malfunction if encountered until it is fixed. In addition, the fuel gauge in this system indicates the amount of fuel in the tank.

Cleaning and replacement

Use the following procedure to replace the LCD unit or the microcomputer unit.

1. Remove the headlight lens and the two headlight-body holding bolts. This will give you easy access to the instrument-panel holding nuts.

Description

CABLE ROUTING

Clamp the leads coming from the upper left hole with the left clamp and the leads coming from the upper right hole
with the right clamp. Keep the space between left and right leads couplers for the headlight coupler.
